About Real T@lk

In February 2012, Brandon “Real T@lk” Williams was invited to perform for Andre 3000 (of OutKast) at his Atlanta home. Andre called Real a “lyrical scientist.” Hailing from Chicago Illinois, artist Real T@lk is changing the world one rhyme at a time. At the age of nineteen, Real T@lk decided to try his hand in poetry and quickly emerged as one of the hottest spoken word artists in the Midwest, doing shows while in school at Southern Illinois University. He toured the Midwest circuit and other colleges out-of-state including Howard University. Upon graduation, Real released his first audio project, “The Mo’ Better Mixtape.” The mixtape took the internet by storm and the fresh lyricism impressed The Source Magazine, who named Real “Unsigned Hype” in their December 2009 issue. He has spent the last few years touring with his hip-hop musical, “The Yard”, mentoring with “Fulfill The Dream”, and performing poetry.
